Program at a Glance

Day 1: Kolkata (Embarkation)

Arrive in Kolkata, transfer to the jetty, and embark the MV Ganges Voyager. After lunch, visit the Missionaries of Charity Home and the tomb of Mother Teresa. Enjoy a welcome reception and cultural evening onboard.

Day 2: Kolkata – Bandel – Kalna

Take a morning heritage tour of colonial Kolkata before sailing to Bandel. Visit the historic Hooghly Imambara, then continue toward Kalna.

Day 3: Kalna – Matiari

Explore Kalna’s exquisite terracotta temples and the 108 Shiva Temple complex. Later, sail to Matiari, known for its traditional brass craftsmanship.

Day 4: Matiari – Khushbagh

Walk through Matiari village to observe local artisans at work. Cruise onward to Khushbagh, visiting the tomb of Nawab Siraj-ud-Daula and the site of the Battle of Plassey.

Day 5: Khushbagh – Baranagar – Murshidabad

Explore Baranagar’s Char Bangla terracotta temples, then continue to Murshidabad to visit Hazarduari Palace, Katra Mosque, and Katgola Palace.

Day 6: Murshidabad – Mayapur

Enjoy a relaxed morning of sailing before visiting Mayapur, the global headquarters of ISKCON, known for its grand temple complex and spiritual atmosphere.

Day 7: Mayapur – Chandernagore – Kolkata

Stop at Chandernagore, a former French settlement. Explore the Governor’s House and the Sacred Heart Church before returning to Kolkata.

Day 8: Kolkata (Disembarkation)

After breakfast, disembark and transfer to your onward destination.
