Program at a Glance

Day 1: Guwahati – Embarkation

Arrive in Guwahati and board the ABN Charaidew II. Settle into your elegantly appointed cabin and enjoy a welcome briefing. Later, relax on deck as the river drifts by and enjoy a sunset cocktail.

Day 2: Majuli Island – Culture & Villages

Cruise to Majuli, the world’s largest river island. Explore traditional Assamese villages, meet local artisans, and discover the island’s famed satras (monasteries). Enjoy an evening cultural performance showcasing local dance and music.

Day 3: Kaziranga National Park – Wildlife Safari

Disembark for a morning jeep safari at Kaziranga, home to the iconic one-horned rhino, wild elephants, and exotic birds. Return to the ship for a relaxing afternoon on deck, taking in the scenic riverbanks.

Day 4: Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary

Visit Pobitora, another rhino sanctuary. Observe these majestic creatures up close in their natural habitat. Return to the ship for a leisurely evening with curated Assamese cuisine and sunset views over the Brahmaputra.

Day 5: Sivasagar – Historical Exploration

Arrive at Sivasagar, once the seat of the Ahom dynasty. Explore historical monuments including Rang Ghar, Talatal Ghar, and Shiva temples, gaining insights into Assam’s royal past. Evening at leisure aboard the ship.

Day 6: Scenic Cruising & River Life
